Nestled in the heart of the prestigious Bordeaux wine region, Listrac-Médoc has been renowned for producing wines of exceptional quality for centuries. Located on the left bank of the Gironde, this communal appellation, which holds priority in the hierarchy of appellations, is recognized for its multiple terroirs – clay-limestone, gravel, deep gravel, and clay gravel – which contribute to the aromatic complexity of the wines.
In 2021, Pierre Jean Denis Bibian, a passionate winemaker, acquired the vineyards of Château Sémeillan Mazeau as well as Château Lagrave Cissan. He also added to his estate the historic building of Château Listrac, built in 1875. With a deep commitment to art and the environment, he is dedicated to producing diverse wines that respect seasonality, thus preserving the authenticity of each vintage.
